    They’ve been trying to get rid of us for 200 years. Every time they fail and they will continue to do so. Those agencies with experience know they are searching for a better customer than those who look through a telephone book. You better gain knowledge and sales ability if you want to attract a good, profitable customer.

    If I am reading the tea leaves correctly, unless an agency is already able to produce large volumes of business, then I see a future(heck, we are already there) where any small to medium sized agency will not be able to maintain their direct appointments without joining up with a larger association. Gotta pay to play, go big or prepare to be terminated. Sad state of affairs.
