Swiss Re Corporate Solutions has appointed Sandy Codding as global head of Cyber & Technology.
In this role, Codding is responsible for overseeing cyber and technology underwriting guidelines, rating methodology, distribution relationships, product sales and new product development. Globally, he will focus on growing Swiss Re Corporate Solutions’ offerings in the small and middle market space. He will oversee a global team of regional underwriters.
Based in Boston, he succeeds François Brisson, who has been appointed head of Cyber & Technology EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
Codding brings 30 years of industry experience to this role. He has held various positions in underwriting and product development. He was with broker Marsh for the past 13 years as a leader in commercial errors and omissions, professional liability and cyber. Prior to Marsh, he worked at Quanta Insurance and at CNA.
