So falls all criticism by liberals that Trump & Congress don’t care for US farmers. The provisions for work requirements were (again) deleted due to pressure from liberals or moderates. So, we’ll continue subsidizing (food stamps aid …i.e. SNAP) SOME of those who COULD work, but won’t.

I am all for requiring people who are physically and mentally able to earn their welfare and/or SNAP benefits. Question is, how do you separate the able and legitimately disabled? Or do you make it mandatory for all?

How are they ever going to find a good job if they have to go and do their weekly slavery to get food stamps?

Polar, the good news is that Food Stamp usage is much, much lower now that the country is generating so many jobs led by our great President. Usage peaked during the former POTUS administration due to very poor economic policy geared toward giving people free stuff.

Did you know that food stamp usage decreased each year from 2013 to 2016 by a total of 3,417,000 less families for a savings of $8,244,210,000 over that period of time?

Just another trend that President Trump has continued.

We all know that the numbers were increasing up to 2013. The annual increases actually began 2001.

Unbelievable how much you pick and choose years and do not note trends in billions, I’ll insert notes here.

            1992 – 20.90
            1993 – 22.00
            1994 – 22.74

This was level and increasing. I will not allow you to attribute this to Bill Clinton. Then the republican revolution of 1994 happened and 95 was their first year blocking Bill Clinton.

            1995 – 22.52
            1996 – 22.440
            1997 – 19.54
            1998 – 16.890 billion

Drops 6 billion in 4 years.

            1999 – 15.769 billion
            2000 – 14.98 billion

            Drops another few billion.

2001 – 15.54 billion 2001 and 2003 considered to be bubble pops, increases happen.
            2002 – 18.25 billion
            2003 – 21.40 billion
            2004 – 24.61 billion
2005 – 28.56 billion including inflation, not bad.
            2006 – 30.18 billion getting iffy
            2007 – 30.37 billion staying iffy
            2008 – 34.60 billion getting bad
            2009 – 50.35 Obvious reason behind increase.
2010 – 64.70 Now what you glossed over increases still
2011 – 71.81 Increases still at record speed
            2012 – 74.61 continues insane increases
            2013 – 79.85 continues insane increases
2014 – 74.06 finally decreases will come back to this.
            2015 – 73.94 billion
2016 – 70.91 since the peak, in 2013 (weird considering the recession was supposedly over eh?) 3 years it comes down about 9 billion.
            2017 – 63.60 billion
2018 – 60.60 In 2 years comes down 10 billion. That is a sharper decline. The GDP goes up by likely 3 percent.

All these are the starts of good trends for Trump, which were not in place, and the same goes with GDP. We have a year after his plan was passed food stamps are down a good chunk, GDP is up a good chunk, he is doing better than Obama. This is not maintaining an Obama pattern, Obama was still increasing this number until 2013, something you left out, and the number in order to normalize still needs to come down to say 50 billion including inflation since 2006.

Polar, just think how many fewer Food Stampers we would have had if present economic policy was followed from 2013 onward. Ron’s fake news is abysmal. They were saying unemployment was way down when 95 million were sitting on the sideline and not counted in the numbers. Fake news on jobs and fake news on SNAP.

      Agent,

Have you reviewed the report about fake news put out there by multiple Harvard Scholars reviewing fake news in our society? If not please stop laminating those arguments you do not align with as fake news.

If you have reviewed the study please share your thoughts, and why you continue to push that it comes from the left when they identified it is actually from the right with Fox news and other conservative outlets.

Can’t wait to hear your opinion on the study!

The unemployment rate is lowest it has been in over 4 decades, but the numbers you posted SEEM to imply the number of people out of the work force is at a near peak. How can those two facts coexist?

Divide your data into two segments to answer the conundrum above. First segment is US citizens, and the the second segment is foreign born workers in the study. That is a sufficient clue to explain the seeming rise in the number of workers out of the workforce.

Your reach for negative news was too hasty; you ran with the numbers without fully understanding the underlying data.

My post was based on the downturn in the recent two years, on a smoothed basis, BEFORE the uptick you see.

The FULL dataset of out of workforce numbers will continue to oscillate until the impending recession subsides and Illegal Immigrants leave the US voluntarily or are deported.

I was not posting negative news, just proving that Agent was wrong, again, about what he posted.

I remember every time i would post that the unemployment rate was decreasing during the previous administration, those on the right would point to the LPR and number of people not working. Just wanted to prove that those data points have not improved much under the current administration or even gotten worse.

Bias within the media is known, against conservatives. Go to politico, I’ve tested this myself. I posted trash talking comments calling people sinners and saying abortion was wrong and gay people were going to hell on one account and computer.

Then I posted a comment stating that Bush W passed a different type of stem cell research, Obama didn’t expand funding, he restricted one and shifted it to another. There were no insults. I said it would be best to have both researches passed and see which pans out. Politico banned my work IP address and removed the comment.

I’ve tested this on ABC, and several others. Banned, but trolls were allowed to talk.

Liberals own the media and schools. It’s not a conspiracy. It’s true.
