I’m thinking of starting a 3rd party. Simply tired of hearing about the Republican Agenda and the Democrat Agenda. Wondering what happened to what us people want. Politicians should be fighting for what the people want.

Sign me up, Jack! I’m so unbelievably sick of both sides right now. I was a registered Dem for a few years when I was younger, then a registered Republican for about 12 years, now am officially a registered Independent.

Craig, Agent, and Tramp are with you. You already have a party, you are one of the sides Rob is sick of right now. You parrot all of their ideas and stances. You might as well work for Faux Newz.

I’m not 100% sure, but I’ll take that as a ‘no’ vote.

Registered Independent here, I love the idea of a legitimate third party. Let’s get it going!

You’re in the wrong party. Switch to the one with a donkey as its symbol – for a better match with your political philosophy.

Politicians should be keeping their noses out of areas where they have no constitutional authority. In other words, they should be doing practically nothing.

Maxine Waters is no joke. She is sharp as a tack, and is both well-respected by her colleagues and feared by her opponents. If she was a joke, she would not have risen to such a visible, responsible position in congress, and would not be subject to so many attacks.
How did she get such a nice house–one that she bought in 2006? Maxine’s husband, Sidney Waters, is a former National Football League player, a Mercedes dealer and minority business dealer who partnered with former teammate and NFL great Jim Brown. He receives pensions from the NFL and Mercedes-Benz in addition to a few other sources of income, according to the couple’s financial disclosures.
Shame on those who spread rumors and cast aspersions without regard to the facts.

I’m not a fan of Maxine Waters. It’s well-documented that both she and her husband have profited greatly from their dealings with the financial industry over the years. If she’s sincere about helping not only the people she represents but all Americans, she really will lead the fight to restore some of the consumer protections lost in recent years and not just pay lip service to it while continuing to feather her nest.

There’s nothing wrong with earning a good living and accumulating massive wealth.
There’s plenty wrong with her (MW’s) lunacy and hypocrisy.

Interesting article, however it does not mention her being chosen as the crookedest member of the House for at least two years running (or should I say most ethically challenged?). No, I should say crook.
