as a sedentarian (one who prefers the sedentary life), I’ve never understood the appeal of “standing desks.” I’ve been trying to get a reclining desk where I can lay on my back on an adjustable recliner (a variable massage setting would be ideal) at 45 degree angle and stare upwards at my screen, thus reducing the need for any unnecessary activity.
