ProWriters Insurance Services has added CFC Underwriting Ltd. and insurtech startup At-Bay writing on Hartford Steam Boiler paper to its Cyber IQ platform.
ProWriters introduced its Cyber IQ platform comparative rating portal in November of 2018 that allows brokers and agents to compare quotes from multiple, stand-alone cyber insurance carriers. The platform was launched with Axis, Chubb, Hiscox and NAS Insurance Services, which is now part of Tokyo Marine HCC.
ProWriters has also added several new features to the Cyber IQ portal including:
- A quote comparison document provided with each submission to make selling cyber insurance more transparent and coverage differences easier to see
- White labeled versions of the Cyber IQ portal to gives retail brokers the ability to provide their clients with multiple cyber quotes directly from their website
- Bulk quoting functionality to allow brokers to upload renewal lists for ProWriters to quote all their renewals
ProWriters was founded in 2012 offering insurance products including errors and omissions (E&O) for professional service firms, directors and officers (D&O), employment practices liability (EPL), crime, and cyber for all businesses. It specializes in small and mid-sized businesses, offering coverage through agents and brokers.
