This unfortunately seems like the wheelchair claims we were seeing a few years back. I know I’ve seen a couple of these already going after smaller clients, it’s unfortunate that it’s going to lead to a lot of frivolous lawsuits.

You just hate blind people! You hate disabled people! You should be ashamed of caring more about money than people!

(How close to reality is my fake outrage response?)

The fact that you agree on this particular point makes me reconsider my position. I want to stress that we should always consider the needs of the disabled, and generally a decision like this would be a good thing. This is just a particular instance where I have seen a number of frivolous lawsuits within my brokerage. I do not subscribe to the Cornell-type of victim blaming.

Aw. You are such a Good person. Way better than me. I suggest you keep repeating that line over and over and over, just in case I forget. (But your lack of a sense of humor isn’t very attractive. FYI)

I feel like I’ve got a pretty great sense of humor, you’re just not funny.
