Some people wonder why the cost of petroleum products is high and rising. Consider the fact that O&G companies are recouping their costs of doing business that include settlements or awards on unjustified charges; i.e. extortion by the plaintiffs motivated by ‘Climate Change’ issues or simply punishment for ‘obscene profits’.

Can you name one business or industry that does NOT pass along settlement/awards back onto their customers? Pretty sure that happens 100% of the time.

You just agreed with him. Here is a short way of saying it: I agree.

And congratulations on recognizing one of the prime reasons liberal politicians mislead voters: raising taxes on a business is simply raising costs on consumers. Suing businesses is raising costs on consumers. Adding regulatory burdens raises costs on consumers.

The poor and middle class in California can tell you all about it.

You sure do love putting words in peoples’ mouths don’t you? Is it because if you listen to what they’re saying it might contradict you in some way? Man, you just hate being wrong. Too bad you’re you, and wrong all the time. You’re defending Exxon, they have no reason to care about you or I or anyone that is not Exxon. The poor and middle class are not represented by you, or Exxon. Thanks for playing, you’re once again a shill for big oil.

Let me guess . . . you never use gasoline. Never drive a car. Never go to a gas station. Never buy products from oil companies.

You are pure. You BELIEVE! And so you never use air conditioning or fly on airplanes. Your carbon footprint is zero.

            Did I nail it?

My post was deleted because I called you a sucker for believing Exxon is good, but that’s true. Exxon is a giant corporation that does not care about the planet or the health of humanity in any way shape or form. Your need to defend a soulless corporation that is actively choking future generations shows you for the shill you are. Exxon actively works to fight alternate means of energy and travel, and you think because we have to use fossil fuels at this time we’re not allowed to be critical of them? So because you eat meat, you’re not allowed to complain about animal treatment? I guess if you eat plants you can’t complain about deforesting? Your logic is false.

Your comments are like a parody of Leftist babble: “You point out the truth so therefore you love Exxon.” “Soulless corporation” “choking future generations”.

You are very, very funny. (Is that you Steve Bannon?)

Craig I don’t think you understand how quotation marks work. You see, when you use “example” you have to state things that someone else actually said. What you’re doing, is lying. As you’ve done this multiple times where you put things in quotation marks that weren’t actually said, it seems like you need a lesson here.

I never said the two things you stated. I made valid points that you have no counter-argument for except to call my remarks “leftist babble”. Once again, all you have are insults and rage without the evidence, data or common sense logic to back your arguments. Poor attempt, maybe try golf?

Law suits from the Leftist Green Movement based on subjectivity vs science. As climate changes not even a weatherman can accurately predict the weather. Being right 50% or less of the time is high. Now business must endure attacks by Left through the courts, which will drive costs up and potentially putting some businesses out of business. But hey the government has an endless supply of taxpayer money to facilitate this ruse! In 1978, the cries from the Environmental Left were of Global Cooling, The UK was going to be frozen over by 1999. When that “prediction” didn’t happen, the narrative changed to Global Warming. When that phony “Prediction” failed, narrative changed to “Climate Change”. Left Wing Climate scarers are now attacking corporations through the courts, because Exxon was not correct in “Predicting”? What a scam and an assault on business!

Prove it. Where’s your data to back that up? You’re making a lot of assumptions claiming it’s “science” where’s that science to back you up?

Al Gore said in 2018 that we only had 10 years left to address Climate Global Warming Change.

Now we are told we only have 12 years left. Show me the science to prove.

Need to ad you and me and everyone else as co defendants having benefited from the use of fossil fuels. This is so stupid. So what are they supposed to do? Show a charge to profits on their SEC filings for “Climate Change Impact”?

Exactly. It’s a shaming festival. “Admit you are bad people because you provide the energy they demand and pay for.” “Admit you are going to wreck the world for profit!” Salem Witch Trials all over again.

Actually, the salem witch trials were about persecuting women for trying to obtain equal rights, among other things. Women were burned at the stake for things like standing up to their abusive husbands or speaking in public. You are trivializing their deaths comparing this to that, but I guess that kind of horrible tactic isn’t new to you is it?

Maybe liberals can sue China. HA HA HA HA! (Along with the NBA.)
