American Companies Facing Pressure to Reveal Data on Diversity of Employees

    Silicon Valley firms should lead the way through voluntary disclosure before such a law is enacted….

    Mother Zuckerberg; are your efforts to achieve workforce diversity sincere or Fake?
    Bezos; are your diversity numbers poor, good, or Amazing?
    Goo-gul; have your efforts to achieve employee diversity improved through your AlGoreithms?

    Some companies do disclose data, but on their own terms.

    Just Capital counted 204 companies that disclosed some information on the gender and ethnicity of their employees as of August 2019, often in non-standard ways.

    In a report on its website, for example, Starbucks Inc states that 17.5% of its executives ranked at senior vice president or higher are “People of Color.”

    Liberally run companies are grossly hypocritical on this issue. For example, why doesn’t Bozo, Mother Zuckerberg and Goo-gul reveal gender diversity and political affiliation diversity of their companies? I assume their stance on such revelations are guided by their legal counsel, in order to avoid litigation.

    Since Insurance Journal published this article on employee diversity, I hereby challenge it to be consistent by voluntarily disclosing its employee diversity. The two categories that most interest me are gender and political affiliation through registration with the employees’ home state government elections department. But IJ should also reveal racial, ancestral, and sexual preference diversity, if available, to be consistent with the laws contemplated in the article.

    Several studies have shown that a person’s race becomes less important as that person’s other identifications are marked as more important. Racism is found to be very low in the military, because a member’s ability and willingness to help the team is far more important as an identity than other factors, including race. (Same with sports teams: if you can help the team win, people care less about race or where you were born or your family or looks or height or any other factor.)

    We are now doing the opposite throughout America. We are making race the primary identity of everyone. Which will make us think about the race of people we meet even more often than before (while we keep quiet about it for fear of cancel culture).

    Dr. King’s goal of a race neutral society is being pushed further and further away. Congratulations, liberals! (“Nice to meet you. Can I see your DNA test now?”)

      Absolutely correct, let’s just do what the government does, hire for jobs simply based on color, regardless of ability to do the job THEN we hire more people to do the job those unqualified can’t do.

        White people started the race, and at 200 meters decided black people could finally start and called it fair. There exists systemic oppression towards black people in America on a level not found anywhere else in the world. If you can’t realize that, you’re part of the racist problem in this country.

How dare you bring up Dr. King’s goal as if you have ANY concern for what he was trying for. All you care about is continuing the racist status quo in america.     What is the true motive behind diversity employment from “big companies”? Are they taking precautionary steps in the event there is big change in Washington this coming November?

      Exactly. Corporations are sell outs. Conservatives tend to just want to be left alone and aren’t foaming at the mouth to have everyone forced to agree with us.

      Liberals demand absolute obedience and group think. And so corporations play the game.

      My favorite pandering to the Leftist morons was Mercedes announcing that all of it’s Formula One cars would now be black. Truly, I laughed out loud. “Hey, look, everyone! I bought a black car to appease the mob, and it WORKED!”

You don’t care about diversity, you can clearly see from Polar’s post he’s just trying to find info about political affiliation because in Polar’s America, the republicans can punish companies that don’t hire republicans. That’s it. That’s your end game, and we all see it.

    The problem is, the two of you (Polar and Craig) are KNOWN racists. We know from discussions over the last year that the two of you are virulently racist, and all you care about is pushing racist, republican agendas.

    Stop trying to blame Liberals because you’re being called on to be diverse. You can deflect all you want, but we all know the heart of the issue here: your racism and bigotry.
