I was about to salute Insurance Journal for an article that addressed the fires in California without the obligatory – and false – references to climate change. The article correctly identifies failed forest management as the primary cause, along with the fact that people keep moving into rural areas. (Never mind that Trump was right from the beginning despite all the mockery about “sweeping the forest floor” blah blah.)

But no, right before the end of the article, the authors must have felt the PC pressure to lob a bone to the climate nazis.

Meanwhile, up in Canada, they have LOTS of forests. But for some reason, they don’t have massive fires like we do here in California. Same in the forests of Europe.

I guess Climate Change likes Cali better . . . maybe Insurance Journal can find an article about that.

Craig, they keep catching the Arsonists setting these fires. Happens every year.

Liberals can’t see the forest for the trees….even after they burn down.

Ummm, there are wildfires in Canada and at times has more wildfires than the US. Furthermore, their peak season of wildfires is not now.

And to suggest that forest mismanagement is the primary cause is misleading and way too simplistic. It plays a role, but it is, in no way, the primary cause. The primary cause is climate change. Good forest management can help mitigate it, but it’s not the cause. You need to read actual facts, Craig and not speculation you get from extremist websites and radio shows.

Ding! Ding! Ding! David wins the internet today! A former executive of CA forest management was on Hartmann yesterday. He said it’s completely dishonest and unfair for Tramp to blame forest management as the primary cause. They are required to leave brush to keep the ground moisture in place. Also, there are species that must go undisturbed. There is so much red tape for them to go through to remove brush and this goes back to the 1960’s. The executive spoke to climate change being a primary cause as trees are growing faster, dying earlier, and some trees even have the capability of exploding from the sap trapped inside. Once again, the Hannitys of the world are pointing to misinformation and an ignorant perspective, meaning completely uninformed on the subject. This man taught fire jumping certification as well as training and was in his position for 30+ years. I’ll take his expertise over Tramp’s lying arse. How can anyone actually trust anything he says anymore? Cult!

Says the executive of Forest Management who is being called out for bad Forest Management. Not to give him all the blame we can also thank the Sierra Club.

Ah, yes. The unbiased Climate Scientists at Politifact. And even THEY said climate change was only a “contributing” factor. NOT a “primary cause” like you said.

Don’t you read what you yourself post?

And no, you are not telling the truth. Canada does NOT have wildfires like these. More? Maybe. As destructive and large? No. Please explain why the changing environment isn’t causing smoke from fires in Canada to travel to Europe, as the California fires are now doing.

I don’t think we need a study to figure out why California keeps burning. California keeps burning because Newsom and those before him refuse to manage our forest land. Whacko environmentalist stand in the way and that is Newsom and every other liberal’s base. In our business, we call it risk control.

Poor forest management due politically motivated climate change politics. Keep in mind, climate change does exist due to natural climate cycles, however climate politics is designed to fool those who are easily duped. If you go by track record, there is no shortage of lies, data manipulation and predictions that have never come to fruition. The climate people can give me all the thumbs down on this reply, but in reality they do so because they are upset that I am right on this and that they are in denial the climate industry thrives when misinformation is spread on this because misinformation is big money for all the corrupt involved.

I read the article and it did indicate that Climate Change is one of the factors causing the increased fire activity in California. You must have conveniently skipped over it because it did not fit your narrative. Yes poor forest management and increased population are also contributing to this horrendous problem. Why is everything have to be political and binary. People are dying and we should all want to do the right thing that logically benefits all of us.

Never found it at once ironis that there were over 12,000 lightening strikes over Newsome and Pelosi’s homes last month. Their party created this hell on earth. 50 years of tree hugging liberal created this mess and they are unwilling to go and hug the trees they saved for such a time as this. Embarrassed to live in California since logic never wins.

This post became the front-page post for insurance journal.

Within minutes, all the usual troll suspects on these boards had posted anti-climate change junk.

This report released last night. Any bets on how many of our usual suspects here are purposefully trolling for the right? We know Craig will use an alternate name to post garbage and hate when he loses an argument, how many of them are engaging in this kind of dishonest behavior?
