I am glad the Federal Reserve is preparing for the economic impact of climate change. This country’s military has been wisely preparing for climate change too. It is crucial that our troops have sufficient supplies of food and protective gear. This crisis will increase insurance costs, make it harder to grow crops, increase human migration, and increase military conflicts over reduced resources like clean water and unflooded land. It is perplexing that some citizens believe our government should be run like a business. However, businesses can only survive if they adapt to economic, environmental, and political trends/changes. Denial of reality is not an option.
