    Insurers must be held accountable TO THE CONTRACT LANGUAGE ! Full stop !

    That means that most, if not all of the BI claims triggered by the COVID-19 virus should not be paid at all with or without a government shutdown.

    No they didn’t! The premium would have been much higher (if such coverage were offered at all) if BI costs from pandemic/virus were included.

    I like how insurance companies like to say we cover but if you look at the fine print, they don’t want to cover very little and will do as much as they can to get out of covering anything. It’s almost like a ponzi scheme where they’ll pay just a little to make you trust them and then when you really need the money, there’s none.
