    A well meaning opinion.

But the evidence does not connect ethical behavior and success. In fact, our business is filled with people who often cross the line and are very successful. What broker would tell their client about a new insurance program that could save the client tons of money if the broker didn’t represent that program? (Answer: a broker who loses clients.)

Also, I remember seeing a statistic a few years ago about insurance fraud in padded auto repair claims today compared to 30 years ago. While I don’t remember the exact numbers the increase in padded claims was about triple of 30 years ago.

I do think something has changed in our society generally over the last 30 years with regard to ethics and not for the good.

Anything can be justified by a PERSON-PARTY-COMPANY-COUNTRY willing to kill a baby at full tern and throw the body in the trash…ANYTHING !

Maybe the writer should focus more on the corruption in Government. A lot more tax dollars are stolen and abused than Insurance dollars.
