In 1986 the EPA predicted sea level rises by 2 feet in Florida by 2020. Turns out to be 3 inches.

In 2008 Al Gore predicted no more Artic ice in 5-7 years.

Now we have another future prediction that in the 2030’s we will have massive coastal
flooding with higher then normal tides.

These bizarre and wrong predictions are never right!

In the 1980’s we were warned about holes in the ozone layer getting larger and larger, but now it’s 2020 and there are no ozone holes. Were the predictions wrong or did we change our behavior and, by reducing CFC’s, let the planet heal itself? See, just because a prediction did not come true is not evidence that it was wrong.

      daleensmin,
If your doctor warned you have a predisposition to diabetes, would you change your diet or just keep eating processed crap and foods loaded with high fructose corn syrup? Your doctor’s prediction would have been wrong because you would make the proper changes. The warning still stands and is accurate. Turns out, if we change behavior and habit, we can affect change and help the healing process. Hmm, who would have thought?
