This is not a grave risk to employees; majority of folks that get COVID recover. If you have condition that makes you more vulnerable, the the employer can make accommodation–work from home. Government over-reach into the private sector.
What about those who don’t recover and die? We just going to accept those lost lives as “cost of doing business” instead of trying to curb as many preventable deaths as possible?
This also disregards the issues left for people that “recover”. We’re still learning about the physical and neurological issues created by this. Lots of people are left with permanent heart and lung issues, this attitude seems naive.
Don’t forget the drop in IQ and that even super-duper healthy people (e.g. professional athletes) are fighting long haul Covid issues months after they’ve recovered.
