Kudos to NAMIC for not groveling. Protecting human beings from the sometimes-harsh environment of Planet Earth is what the insurance industry has always done and continues to do.
The climate-change loudmouths are interested in only one thing: power. The power to force submission to their top-down plans for a miserable collectivist future where common folks have no mobility and few of the creature comforts that capitalism and the voluntary division of labor have enabled over centuries.
If this really were about the environment, then John Kerry and Al Gore and Greta Thunberg would be marching in the streets every day demanding that the U.S. do whatever it takes to bring an immediate and peaceful end to the war in Ukraine, which is the biggest threat to the environment of all time. Are they not aware of what even a limited nuclear exchange would do to the climate that they claim to care so much about?
