Hipo-flippin-potomus! So are they going to mandate employers pay for the cocktails and short skirts that enable unprotected sex as well? Gosh if only the government would MANDATE they pay for all of my mistakes… and hey while we’re at it – everyone’s I’m certain that would solve all the world’s woes, reduce the deficet and enable our continued perpetuation of the so called free country we call the USA. I’m outraged and disgusted – I don’t even want Turkey. Ron Paul… where ‘out thou?

Good for them for taking a stand. Too bad the Courts do not use obsolete concepts such as morality and freedom of religion when deciding cases.

Chrisitan Scientists are against healthcare of any kind. Having healthcare coverage of any kind is a violation of their reigious freedom. Therefore, should we eliminate all healthcare coverage?

What about “freedom of religion” for those employees who do not follow the fanatical beliefs of their employer? What about their freedom of religion? (Or freedom FROM religion) And don’t use the excuse that they should just quit if they don’t like it. That would be like saying you should just leave America if you don’t like the court’s decision or the healthcare mandate.

Um…perhaps because “morality” is a highly subjective term?

And freedom of religion having nothing to do with a for-profit organization?

I totally deplore what Obama and crew are doing. I detest the fact that the government can now dictate, in spite of ones religious beliefs, what an employer must provide his employees with respect to health coverage. Over the next four years how much more is the government going to mess within our private lives?

      It’s fairly simple.

A for-profit company is not a religious organization.

So how much do you deplore the Republican Government of the 8 years prior to Obama for their willful abandonment of the Constitution and their illegal intrusion into our private lives via the Patriot Act?

Or are you only deplorable in a partisan way?

Well most employers consider benefits part of your salary, so what you are saying is that Hobby Lobby should be able to say how you spend part of your salary.

I find it astonishing that some accuse the Obama administration of promoting healthcare that intrudes into American’s private lives while cheering on VA governor Bob “trans-vaginal probe” McDonnell’s efforts to violate and abuse pregnant women in the name of some extremist Orwellian evangelical-fascist theology.

Owners of for-profit organizations have the right to exercise their religious beliefs. If a woman opts to have unprotected intercourse, then she needs to know pregnancy is a potential outcome of said activity. Ditto AIDS and other diseases. When will this country go back to bearing responsibility for the choices we make instead of demanding that someone else pay the price?

      The federal court says otherwise.

Then why waste schools time teaching Birth Controll? All they really need to know now is if one slipps by the goalie, they can just take a free pill.
So – bonik away America! Someone else has to pay for your actions!

Well said. Personal Responsibility needs to be the norm again.
Who looks in the mirror any more and says – yes I am responsible for me.
Remember the old Baretta TV show? Dont do the crime if you cant do the time!

Guess their only option would be to drop the coverage all togeather or to reduce all hours below 30 for everyone.
