Sexual Harassment Claims Against Oklahoma Group Settled

The Grand River Dam Authority in Oklahoma has reached settlements with two ex-employees over claims of sexual harassment and wrongful termination.

The settlements follow a 10-month investigation into claims of sexual harassment and wrongful termination against the organization’s CEO and another staff member.

The Tulsa World reports the group’s spokesman says the sexual harassment claim was settled for more than $220,000. He says the settlement hasn’t been finalized for the wrongful termination claim.

The organization’s former chief operating officer claims he was forced out last year because he knew the CEO made an improper advance toward a female employee.

Officials with the group ordered an investigation and approved the settlement with the woman involved last month. She has resigned.
