Does anyone know the legality of this rubbish? I assume (I do not know) that it is a state issue. This is a perfect example of where a Federal law may be needed. What may be legal in one state (real marijuana in Colorado) will not be legal in another state (Kansas for instance). There are so many people who move state to state in employment, that some regulation may be necessary to protect the public. I want more government like I want a toothache, but I have no better solution. Government intervention probably wouldn’t have stopped this idiot anyway. Four families devastated by drug abuse.

There is a Federal law in place for marijuana, it’s illegal. I think a Federal law will not make a difference in this situation.

Synthetics have been registered as a “controlled substance” for over five years. Unfortunately DOT Part 40 does not include the chemical components to fully address this. Additionally, there is a cottage industry that has formed on how to manipulate the tests. A lot of mental ingenuity going towards a useless cause….
