No wonder Philadelphia can’t respond to emails, phone calls, etc. Takes weeks to get a quote from them, and their underwriters are unapproachable and their CSR’s have no idea what an insurance policy is, much less what their product might cover. They’re all out planting trees. That explains it all

I agree totally. I have one piece of business with them unfortunately.. It’s been there for years and I would move it but the client wants to stay.. Philadelphia is by far the worst in the industry. I guess they have too much business..

Did either perplexed or martin check to see whether the employees were doing the planting on weekends or on their own time? If the employees are, then perplexed and martin should be happy some people are doing some good for the country instead of criticizing.

    Dear perplexed and martin,

I am a PHLY employee who went on the trip. It was a great experience, and I am proud/grateful to work for a company willing to offer an experience like this for its employees. It was during work time…..but PHLY offers PAID time off for employees interested in volunteering and giving back to their community.

I am sorry you have had that experience, but to paint us with such a broad brush in this forum is silly.

Let me know where you are/what agency you work for, and I’d be happy to try to have your issues addressed.
