People Moves: Neaves to Lead Plexus’ Oklahoma Office; Alliant Adds McGinnis in Dallas; Rand to Assistant VP at RHSB

Deer Park, Illinois-based The Plexus Groupe promoted industry veteran Todd Neaves to the newly created role of resident leader in its Oklahoma City office.

Neaves will lead the agency’s team in Oklahoma City with a focus on accelerating Plexus’ rapid growth, while continuing to maintain his current responsibilities as senior vice president working with clients across a range of industry practices.

Prior to his promotion, Neaves was vice president at the firm’s Oklahoma City office, focusing on core employee benefit brokerage consulting. He has extensive knowledge in the areas of strategic program assessment, comprehensive data analysis, development and execution of targeted action plans, renewal and placement, plan implementation and annual enrollment, and daily account management.

Neaves began his insurance career more than 20 years ago as a marketing manager for CommunityCare Managed Healthcare Plans, one of the largest healthcare companies in Oklahoma. Most recently, he was president of PremierSource where he provided client-specific solutions in all areas of human resources, benefits, risk management, and consulting.

Alliant Insurance Services

Alliant Insurance Services name Tim McGinnis senior vice president, construction services group. He is based in Dallas.

McGinnis will focus on providing innovative and strategic risk management solutions for construction clients across all lines of business.

With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, McGinnis has held various specialized positions as a carrier, broker and risk manager for a large general contractor. McGinnis joins Alliant from a global insurance broker where he held several roles, including West Region construction leader, North American builders risk practice leader, wrap-up broker and client advocate for several construction clients.

Roach Howard Smith & Barton

Dallas, Texas-based Roach Howard Smith & Barton (RHSB) promoted Stacie Rand to assistant vice president in the role of commercial quality coordinator.

Rand joined RHSB in 2012 as a commercial lines account manager and then was promoted to senior account manager in 2014. In this new position, she will provide leadership for the commercial property/casualty service teams. Rand has extensive knowledge of agency procedures and automation solutions and excels in providing training to employees.

Rand will also continue her role as senior account manager maintaining the client relationships, providing superior customer service, responding to coverage inquiries, and risk management needs. While she handles different types of insurance risks with many industries, real estate is her area of specialty.

She has worked in the insurance industry for over 20 years in various roles. Rand began her career in personal lines with an insurance company in 1997 and transitioned to commercial insurance with a retail agent in 1999 handling claims. Working for a retail agent allowed her knowledge of coverage and the industry to expand, eventually being promoted to manager overseeing a commercial lines team.
