Palmer & Cay, Inc., an insurance brokerage and benefits consulting firm, has expanded its services to include a team of specialists focusing exclusively on the equine industry. The new practice will be based in Versailles, Ky., a major center for thoroughbred breeders and training farms, and will provide insurance brokerage services for horse owners and breeders on an international basis.
Joining Palmer & Cay’s new equine practice are Erin Hall and Jennifer Goebel.
Hall has been named a vice president in the commercial insurance division and will serve as a senior account executive in the equine practice. She has more than 14 years experience in the industry and specializes in the design and management of specialized programs for thoroughbred horse owners. Prior to joining Palmer & Cay, Hall served as a vice president with Marsh, Inc.
Goebel joins Palmer & Cay as an assistant vice president and will serve as an account executive in the equine insurance practice. She was previously employed with the Versailles, Ky. office of Marsh, Inc. where she specialized in the design and administration of insurance coverages for high-value thoroughbred horses.
