For what it’s worth, I live in Miami-Dade and though I did NOT file a claim, I was amazed at the number of large trees that were knocked down by the storm. Those “feeder bands” that stretch out for hundreds of miles away from the storm’s eye can be surprisingly strong.

If FEMA doesn’t turn over the records the state should sue for them. I can’t believe they just asked for them.
Tens of MILLONS paid for 30 mph winds, I wounder if people in Dade can file a FEMA claim following a thunder storm, they have 30 mph winds.
