Builders Insurance Group has introduced its general liability program to the Florida market, continuing its expansion in the Southeast. The company already offers the product in Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee.
In addition to the standard GL product, Builders is also introducing a second GL coverage option to enable home builders to help control their costs while assuring the protection of their assets.
The GL coverage is available to residential general contractors, residential developers and residential remodeling contractors.
The second offering, the GL Warranty program, is designed to reduce GL premiums for builders who provide their customers with a home warranty from one of five approved home warranty companies. These are Bonded Builders, Home Buyers Warranty (HBW)/2-10, Professional Warranty Services Corporation, Quality Builders Warranty and Residential Warranty Corporation.
Along with General Liability, Builders Insurance Group also writes Builders Risk (in Georgia only) and Workers’ Compensation, its core offering. All three products are available through independent insurance agents appointed by Builders Insurance Group.
