If the rest of the state ends up subsidizing the coast, it just encourages further development in that area and compounding the problem! Someone in Huntsville should not have to someone else living in Baldwin or Mobile.
How many times have these counties blown away in the 30+ years I have dealt with Alabama it has happened often. Pretty area, in part because most of the construction is new. I agree, stop the madness.
