Johnny O at the Oscars. Now, that’s a sight I would have liked to see. More out of place than Bill Gates and Steven Hawking playing pool at my neighborhood tavern.

What’s the big deal? Yes, the good doctor is well connected, but it appears he was indeed misinformed by the Life Insurer as to the tax advantages of their life policy, probably by an undertrained salesperson. He appears to be financially harmed, b/c he could have gotten a policy that offers a tax-benefit or looked for a lower price. Complaint filed, market conduct examination ensues and another insurance company is shaken down for fines. Happens all the time, even for the less well connected.
