I wonder, too, and suspect you are correct. loss of use to “impaired” property with no direct damage cause of loss? Any claims guys out there want to see if BP’s GL pays for this? LA and MS will probably want to add an oil clause for damge to property values to the NFIP program and FL will force HO carriers to indemnify the loss of use.
