Keystone Group Adds Four Tennessee Agencies

Keystone Insurers Group is expanding its presence in Tennessee by teaming up with four new franchise partners.

E.B. Thom & Sons, McIntire & Associates Insurance Inc., Porch-Stribling-Webb Inc. and Art E. Gernt have all joined Keystone, significantly expanding the group’s involvement in Tennessee’s market, according to KIG Tennessee State Vice President Doug Dukes.

E.B. Thoma & Son was founded in 1910 and is located in Tullahoma. Headed up by Busch Thoma, the agency specializes in personal and commercial lines of property and casualty insurance and group and individual health coverage.

McIntire & Associates was founded by Bob McIntire and his father, Bill. Based in Cleveland, the 20-year old firm is one of the largest independent agencies in Bradley County. Bill McIntire currently serves on the board of the Insurors of Tennessee.

Porch-Stribling-Webb Inc. is located in Waverly. Founded in 1954, the firm is headed up by President Dave Porch, who was formerly a president of Insurors of Tennessee. Currently, he is the state’s representative to the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association.

Art E. Gernt Insurance Inc. is located in Crossville. Founded in 1981, Art Gernt has served on the board of the Professional Insurance Agents of PIA and was named PIA Agent of the Year in 2006.
