Ride-sharing is a fraudulent transportation model. It profits on refusal to comply with regulations, on non-payment of municipal business permits, on evasion of local taxes and regulatory fees. This failed model has been tried before. Self-regulation of public transportation services by private, and in this case – a private offshore(!)-based corporation, is dangerous, irresponsible and just doesn’t work.

Just a few days ago – a young woman was kidnapped by a “well”-rated Uber driver:

Every example of evasion of government regulation, fees, prevailing wages, environmental restriction, etc, etc, has been HERALDED by BOTH of our governmental parties. Corporate America (BIG BIZ) OUTSOURCES to UNREGULATED CHINA and smaller domestic employers LOVE the INSOURCE of CHEAP LABOR from Mexico and other “3rd world” immigrant nations). Why is UBER RIDE SHARING any different.

America has been on a PROSTITUTION MISSION starting at about the time most of our World War II Hero/Veterans began to retire…

Hey at least corporate America and the complicit body politic allowed our VETERANS, that SAVED THEIR CORPORATE AND POLITIAL BUTTS, to benefit from “The American Dream”…fair wages for hard work… THEY absolutely earned it… But for their kids and grand kids/great grand kids… not so much…
