I hate to show my ignorance, but I am confused by the statement in the article “Insurance don’t pay nothing….” Why wouldn’t crop insurance pay on losses of this type?
Any Crop Insurance guys out there? I wouldn’t mind a little “splaining” myself. Could they have bought insurance to cover it? If so, no bailout for you, sorry. Grew up on a farm myself, but if you had a chance to buy insurance and didn’t, don’t send me the tax bill for it.
