Good old King Coal. Let’s Make Breathing Worse Again by resuscitating this nasty industry. If cave-ins or gas explosions won’t get these hard-working men and women, then “safety” protections will do it.
I understand “reality bites” comments concerning the coal industry. Where these miner live coal has been the only source of a living wage. I agree that people from this area are hard working. This area needs a tremendous amount of help attracting new industries with sufficient wages to replace the current coal jobs.
