If Gordon plans to become a hurricane, he’s gonna have to get going. As of 2:00PM EST, Gordon was still a Tropical storm, moving NW @ 15mph. Hang in there, coastal Alabama, Mississippi & Louisiana.

Pretty sure the hoaxers will say this storm is from Global Warming and flooding because of rising seas. Of course, when NO is below sea level, that makes it a lot easier.

Regardless of your beliefs (both as it relates to man’s influence on the climate and political affiliations), can we at least all agree that we hope people’s lives won’t be too devastated as a result of the potential high winds, rain, and flooding?

Of course we can agree that folks won’t be injured as a result of this storm. Climate change is still under review by lots of people. Hurricanes have been happening for as far back as any of us can remember and as far as the sea levels – who knows – but I’ve got a condo in Naples, FL on the ground floor that’s been there since the 1960’s and the tide rises and recedes every day.
