Here’s a way for DeSantis to accept this “stupefying” decision. Think of Twitter or Facebook as a bakery that’s exercising it’s constitutional right to pick their customers or a government clerk that’s choosing not to perform their job because they don’t agree with the law.

Two different things. One is religion and the other free speech. You can’t force someone to do something against their religion. Free speech is a different matter here.

Good point on the religion perspective. I have to wonder if the argument for religious freedom is any stronger than a social media company’s argument that they are private and can make their own rules. Like the bakery could. Certainly our courts have said so. Is the freedom to exercise religious beliefs greater than freedom of speech? For those individuals who don’t believe in any higher power, they would probably wouldn’t think so.

DeSantis continues to demonstrate his inability to govern.

And Biden was our least bad choice in the last election.

How can you say that with a straight face. I wouldn’t want to play poker with you ever. Have you taken a look at the stock market, inflation, borders, etc? Give me a break and fold your hand.

Martin, I would have to agree with you on the border crisis. Something needs to be done and it’s a disaster. Not sure I can pin inflation on Biden. But it’s customary he’ll get blamed. Our Gov’t (red & blue) pumped way too much money into our economy during Covid and it’s made worse that most of the “crap” that we consume comes from overseas where there still are Covid shutdowns. We’ve bashed the Chinese (for good reason) enough and I guess they’re getting the last laugh. Additionally, the PPP money was a windfall for many business owners that did not experience a drop in revenue. Certainly can’t be Biden’s fault that other counties are experiencing inflation as well.
