So ridiculous. Vultures are a necessary species cleaning up carrion and staving off pestilence. In all my years I have never seen predatory behavior in any vulture community regardless of what state I was in. The cycles of life and death are intricate and necessary to Nature’s balance – mess with that and then wonder why diseases become rampant at a later date? The odds people, the odds. And, worst of all, the idea that something subjectively deemed “ugly” is deserving of hate and is therefore categorized as killable is a sign of the decline of civilization. Disgusting behavior.

Vultures are a necessary part of the circle of life. They eat dead things.
If they become predators its because they were messed with, probably with some kind of human intervention.
I believe this is to grab headlines and instill yet even more fear.

I have a tee shirt that shows a cartoon hornet with a gun in one hand and a knife in the other.

The caption reads, “Murder Hornets”. (Remember when that was the latest scare story?)
