IT AMAZES ME HOW YOU CAN HAVE A ONE SIDED VERDICT WITHOUT THE AGENT AND KNOWING HE WAS DISABLED AT THE TIME OF YOUR ALLEDGED FINDINGS, WITHOUT HIM ATTENDING ANY PROCEEDINGS. I AM SURE YOU KNOW ANOTHER COURT FOUND THAT ALL PROCEEDS YOU STATE WERE LOST, WERE IN FACT RETURNED BY MR. GRANEY IN FULL, AND SETTLED WITH THIS COURT OF LAW. PLEASE RETRACT YOUR FALSE ACCUSATIONS AND REINSTATE HIS LICENSE SIMPLY OUT OF FAIRNESS TO ALL. 28 YEARS OF AN UNBLIMISHED RECORD FOR THIS AGENT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING. IN FACT YOUR OFFICE USED MR. GRANEY TO CATCH ANOTHER PERSON WITH HIS HELP, AND NOW HE HAS BEEN PENALISED, FOR HELPING YOU. MR. GRANEY, DID NOTHING WRONG. WE ARE ALL INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IN THIS COUNTRY AND YOU HAVE VIOLATED EVERY LAW ON THE BOOKS. GIVE THIS PERSON A FAIR LOOK AND YOU WILL FIND HE HAD THE UNMOST RESPECT FOR YOUR PROFFESSION AND FOR HIS CLIENTS. IT WAS HE WHO GAVE YOU A PERSON WHO DID FALSEHOODS AND YOU GAVE MR. GRANEY UP WITHOUT A CARE, AFTER HE CARIED THE BURDEN OF YOUR QUEST. YOURS FOR BEING FAIR AND CORRECTING YOUR ARTICLE ON THE INTERNET. MR. GRANEY DISERVES A THANK YOU FOR THE HELP HE GAVE TO YOUR DEPARTMENT.DON’T YOU THINK YOU OWE HIM ALOT MORE THAN A UNILATERAL DICISSION.

I saw an Interesting article in the news paper, on the same subject, which gave me the same Question, the the author wrote of. HOW CAN ANY AGENT DO ANY WRONG WHEN THE INSURANCE DEPARTMENT AND COMPANIES ALLOW ALL AGENTS TO SELL THESE PRODUCTS UN-REGULATED? It really seems unfair to point the finger when BOTH the Insurance department and the companies go out of there way and seem to approve all such dealings, with there eyes closed. Before you destroy careers maybe it would be better to take some of the blame and fire some of your own for lack of regulations and the insurance companies ability to sell such product. Have you taken away the license of all the companies who helped in this? Has your department fined it’s self?. The problem is not the foot Soldier, Rather the Cammanders who set up the Rules of Engagement.
    PLEASE! REALLY TAKE SOME BLAME!!

I read your blog on this agent, and i also read the other readers statements. Give me a break!!! You admitedly had a hearing without the Agent, giving him no rights under any law. You even state he sold products to poor old ladies. I wonder who REALLY allows this to be done? DAAAA maybe the Department of Insurance and it’s rules, or Possibly the companies you regulate. If this was done, you allowed it and now you are justifying your inability to regulate onto a poor guy who didnt even defend himself, or fight back, after 27 years in this business. YOU LICENSED HIM, YOU REGULATED THE COMPANIES, YOU EVEN REGULATED WHAT CAN BE SOLD AND WHAT COULD BE REPLACED. TAKE THE BLAME AND STOP HARRASSING THESE AGENTS. Like the other reader said, I wonder who lost there Job in your office?? I think we all know the answer to that one. as John Stossel says: GIVE ME A BREAK!

I have been with State Farm for many years. Am a senior citizen, never had an accident and paid premiums on time. As I was driving down the highway the other morning, a truck, a truck going the other direction, crossed the yellow line and tore my side mirror completely off. The truck didn’t stop. I immediately went to State Farm. The agent told me that it was not a hit and run. Started out saying it was a $200.00 deductable, then changed it to $500.00 deductible. What can I do. I am 78 and cannot afford to pay the cost?
