Calif. Agent Convicted of Transacting Ins. Without License

On July 31, 2002, Lori Lee Koerth, AKA Lori Lee Carbone, owner of Koerth Insurance Services was convicted of two misdemeanor counts of transacting insurance without a license. The Ventura County District Attorney’s Office prosecuted the case. Koerth was sentenced to 30 days in County Jail, 36 months probation, and a $5,000 fine.

The arrest and convictions were the result of an investigation by the California Department of Insurance (CDI) Criminal Investigations Branch’s Investigations Bureau.
