Fred Drexler was an icon of the being of man. He was truthful, honest and the epitomy of a kind and caring individual. He gave his utmost monetarily and psychologically to promoting the best for mankind. I had the privilege of loving and knowing him intimately for several years. His devotion to his family was always unwavering. How fortunate we are to have had him in our lives.

August 23, 2008 — In review of my former comments, I would not change a word. Fred Drexler touched my life and gave me knowledge that opened my life to a new view of the world. Not a day goes by that in some way I remember his thoughtful ways and how much he cared for others, this country and his legacy he left behind. I personally strive in my own small way to continue to carry on his beliefs. I am not noble but have such respect for this man that for me it is important that others recognize his accomplishments.

as I recall, crum and forster took over in 1988 not 1968 as the article stated.
