Sure, we have corruption in the W/C system, but where does it start? With Governor and his appointees, and their department heads.
One example is, when complains are submitted to the Medical Board of California (MBC) about defendant doctors, and these doctors are found unfit to treat patients by the Board’s Psychiatrist or these doctor received a public letter of reprimand from the (MBC) after this doctor admitted to the medical board investigator and medical consultant that he intentionally failed to accurately and truthfully fill-out the doctor’s certificate section of the patient’s disability benefits form. According to the MBC the doctor falsely represented that the patient was malingering, was a possible drug abuser, etc. The (MBC) found on January 13, 2003, fifteen causes to discipline this doctor, but the doctor only had his license suspended and received five years probation. These three doctors I was either evaluated by of had them assigned to my case.
These were all defendant doctors, and I was denied treatment due to their reports. The insurance companies and defense attorneys know who to send the injured worker to, and the injured worker has no recourse, because the Worker’s Compensation Administrative Law Judges (WCALJ) are usually lazy, from a store front law schools and do not want to deal with an Applicant who is in Propria Persona, even if the Applicant is well educated and is well prepared to do the research or read Labor Codes with understanding as the store front (WCALJ).
It is unfortunately that these inadequate individuals have so much power.

One can not reform corruption , it can only be hidden as with SB899 State officials need to clean up the system first but why are they sitting on their hands? to see a perfict example of how bad the corruption is one simply has to go to http://www.mystatefundstory.com or see the documentary “almost Broken” and they can see for themselves just is really committing the fraud and how the people of California are being mislead.

Larry Nign is right. I saw his documentary in San Francisco and listened to several other people who are being abused by the system. There are several people committing suicide because they receive no medical care and are in so much pain. Unfortunately the State of California is run by unhumane people who have no respect for human life. Arnold Schwarzeneggar is a perfect example.
