American Agents Alliance Convention Selling Out Fast

This year’s annual American Agents Alliance’s convention will feature another solid program of seminars and continuing education courses, a sold-out two-day trade show, three general sessions with speakers from the insurance industry’s top echelons, and much more! The Alliance invites all insurance professionals to join them in “Partnering for Success” at Conference & Expo 2005, slated for Sept. 28 – Oct. 2, 2005 in Indian Wells, California. The convention planning committee has already announced that current registration numbers have surpassed those from the same time during the association’s previously biggest attendance year, and rooms at the convention hotel are close to selling out.

“We believe this spike in attendance is just the beginning and expect standing room only crowds at all of our events. Anyone planning to attend the convention will be glad they signed up sooner rather than later to avoid long lines and increased prices at onsite registration,” said Conference & Expo 2005 chairperson Barbera Jakubanis. “Our theme of ‘Partnering for Success’ is something we will be focusing on in all aspects of our convention: from our general sessions, trade show and associated events, and golf tournament to providing venues for individual meetings and other forums for direct communication between companies and convention participants.”

In addition to the two-day trade show, the record crowd can look forward to an excellent mix of old convention favorites and exciting new features. Participants will still be able to obtain nearly a year’s worth of continuing education credits, take advantage of outstanding networking opportunities at nightly hospitality parties, and relax at one of the desert’s premiere resorts.

Two convention features that are creating a buzz are the “Launching Pad” and revamped golf tournament. Duffers coming in for the annual golf tournament on Thursday, Sept. 29 will find goodie bags, tee sponsors, bigger prizes and an awards cocktail party have been added. Of course, the Alliance will still be recognizing the longest drive, closest to the pin and overall tournament winners. The roster is filling up fast, so anyone wishing to participate should sign up now. The new product “launching pad” is where company partners can show off new markets and business innovations to the whole convention. There will be a schedule available listing which companies will be presenting, and when those presentations will take place.

Jakubanis also wanted to remind Conference & Expo attendees that rooms at the Renaissance Esmeraldaconvention headquarterssell out every year. The Conference & Expo planning committee has announced that room availability is shrinking each day, and those who want to stay at the Renaissance Esmeralda should book now by calling (877) 804-4070. All Conference & Expo 2005 participants will receive a special rate of $139 per night.

To download a convention registration, or to register online, visit www.agentsalliance.com and roll your mouse over “Conference & Expo” on the drop-down menu to make your selection. The “early bird” discount expires on June 28.
