Don Gwizdalski has been named president of Apollo Agencies Inc., a subsidiary of Kinecta Federal Credit Union. He will be responsible for growing Apollo’s insurance business in each of the Kinecta Member Service Centers, as well as in communities throughout California.
Gwizdalski joins Apollo from USI of Southern California Insurance Services, where he served as president and sales manager since 2004, when USI acquired Dodge, Warren & Peters (DWP). He was responsible for developing and implementing strategies to increase the development and retention of key markets and accounts. Before the acquisition, Gwizdalski served for 19 years in a variety of positions at DWP, including on the board of the corporation. He began his career at Liberty Mutual in 1983. He holds licenses in property and casualty, life and health insurance and is a member of Insurance Brokers and Agents of the West (IBA West).
Gwizdalski holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication from Arizona State University. He serves on the Board of the San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross and is affiliated with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the YMCA, the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation, and the South Pasadena Educational Foundation.
