Finally…. the Insurance Journal is able to post supporting information pertaining to an article for viewers to refer to their speculative comments or berating remarks
Only wish more readers would take the time to do a bit of research before they respond – Case in point the Pit Bull story – there are a number of sites were available to further explain the situation (available by \”googling\” the statute)
Many of the comments could be more productive. We are all entitled to our opinions in this forum, however too many posts would be been better served if people do their homework first

Emma, you could not convince an ape that this is not politically motivated. Mike McGavick turned Safeco around and made Emma Schwartzman and all other stock holders a chunk of profit. Emma the question we all have for you is \”Are you a democrat?\” I do not think that corporate corruption should be accepted, but if the board of your sweet little company gave Mike Mcgavick this money thru some other deal, did McGavick do anything wrong. No the board may have, but if someone throws $28 millin at you, I don\’t think you would reject it. Besides your attorney will get half anyway and the stockholders get screwed in the end eitherway.

It\’s obvious that JR is a republican. Just look at the great use of smoke and mirrors in the post. Sure you\’re not for corporate corruption….
