My husband & I moved here from So. California 14 yrs ago and it is a beautiful and safe place to live. If you are 55+ years young, you must look up Sun River.com and you will see one of the best places to live in retirement. I have worked there selling homes for over 3 years and just e-mail me or call if you would like any information sent. Carol
We\’ve lived in SunRiver St. George for
seven years, and it\’s NOT perfect, but there is no perfect place. We love it here there is excellent medical care and hospital. Friendly people. We are NOT
selling real estate or anything else — just our opinion. While we really don\’t want to see St. George grow any more, this is out feeling: it\’s a great place to retire!
St. George Utah is not just a \’secure\’ place to live but healthy, active, friendly, fun, and the list goes on!
See http://www.sunriver.com for more information on the best places to retire. I\’d be happy to show you what I\’m talking about.

Anyone looking to move to St. George should maybe investigate the corruption in St. George first. From the college to the city to the school district, and especially the medical monopoly that is IHC, to the extremely judgmental and unhealthy mormon culture, St. George is anything but secure. The summers, when you really want your children to be playing outside, are extremely hot. And this population # is way off. St. George is barely at 82K now in 2018. It was never 110K. The city is desperately trying to get tech here, but can’t. They lost the full Iron Man because the area isn’t really very fun (except Springdale and Zion) and they think they are going to charm you into becoming LDS at every turn, but then they are passive aggressive as hell when you don’t convert. The community is very corruption prone and the D on the hill stands fro “denial”. Proceed with extreme caution moving to St. George.
