“…presidents of three of out of four of the district’s labor unions are concerned that the cost of the error might get passed along to their members”

“But 4,800 district employees … were never charged for more than $700,000 in insurance for those three months, ”

So basically the union presidents are saying, “we don’t want our members to be charged for expenses they actually incurred”.

To put a different perspective on the earlier comment regarding the Union Leaders’ comments, consider this:

If the union members made a mistake and failed to actually educate the students up to what might otherwise be considered reasonable standards, would the District not be obliged to actually PAY them?

The arrogance of educational unions in this country is out of control. their members take, take, and take some more, but never want to be held responsible for anything.
