    Hey Brett:
Good to see ya again. I thank the lord that I am an INDEPENDENT and not a captive idiot with a beaten down bad reputation insurance carrier. I represent The Hartford and Travelers and you hardly ever seen bad press on them. Leave that lowsy group and become an independent…you will make more money…a lot more fool

The reason Farmers always gets blasted is that they are either arrogantly stupid, or stupidly arrogant. It really is that simple, lower managed is arrogantly stupid, and Wilshire Boulvard is totally stupidly arrogant. Zurich keeps teeling them that if they don’t get results$$$, then they will be replaced, they need Tony Soprano!!

Let’s face it, Farmers isn’t alone, everyone thinks their insurance sucks. They buy from agents who are over compensated for the talent they bring to the table. They buy a product they don’t understand. And yes, rates do go up! But if agents represented their companies better, and took the interest of their clients instead of how much commission then we wouldn’t need site like these. Face it their is a small group of Farmers agents who can’t find work elsewhere and are unhappy because they were passed by 20 years ago.

Farmers, now rated last in Califonia by JD Powers. There IS a reason for that you know. But their PR squad is always busy in front of the cameras. ever tried to repay their Reserve Agent fees? You can’t.

Goody, now they will raise the fire rates again to pay for this pr and I will have to explain to my clients what a great and benevolent company Farmers is.

You know I think it is awfully funny that whenever I see Farmers news go across that there are always poor remarks about Farmers Insurance. It always seems to be the same people. If you hate working for them or being an agent for them then get out of the way of the people that do want to be apart of the company. Granted are there things that could be better? Yes. are there issues that need worked on? Yes. But what company doesn’t have issues. Either get off the pot or shut up about how they scewed you. Your the one that wanted to get into the business. You are the one that took the job. Quit downgrading a company that you couldn’t perform for.

Brett, great comments. Funny that if the agents read the JD Powers and Associates survey they wouldn’t be as quick to lay the blame on the company, for a good part of the survey deals with the agents!

Farmers Insurance’s track record for the past 18 months is not an opinion, it’s a fact. They have been sued and lost by the DOI in 3 states! They have lost 2 class action suits by policyholders and lost, and 2 by it’s employee’s and agents and lost. They just lost a judgement for 1.4 to it’s insureds, and were fined by the DOI. This is not an opinion these are facts, so please do not justify your thinking by calling there past agents all loosers and it’s only one person’s opinion.

Facts are facts and Einstein is correct…FARMERS is one of the worst carriers to represent and its reputation gets worse. Lawsuit after lawsuit they lose and keep paying. Why don’t you open your blind eyes, sell your lowsy book and move onto Statefarm, Allstate, or if you were really smart, you would become INDEPENDENT. I often wonder why a good agent ends up working for a crappy carrier and never tries to better himself. Bail while you can Brett…time is ticking and FARMERS still sucks
