Abram Interstate Insurance Services Inc. in Rocklin, Calif., is offering a personal auto program in California. The policy provides collision coverage, comprehensive coverage, bodily injury liability, property damage liability, medical payments, and uninsured/underinsured motorist coverage. Additional coverage options include rental reimbursement and towing and labor.
Minimum coverage offered in the program: 30/60/25 bodily injury, 30/60/3.5 uninsured motorist. Liability limits are up to 500/500. Medical payments are up to $25,000. Deductibles are from $50 to $5,000 for comprehensive/collision. Coverage is $75.00 per tow. Rental reimbursement is $15 to $100 per day up to 30 days maximum. Repair or replacement collision coverage covers gap in ACV of vehicle. Gap coverage covers gap in ACV from loan.
Six month and annual policies are available. Coverage can be packaged with a homeowners policy and receive 25 percent off the homeowners and 15 percent off the auto. Discounts are available for multi-car, hybrid vehicles, good driver, driver training, and good students. More savings are available for vehicles with passive restraints, airbags, anti-lock brakes and certain anti-theft devices. The coverage is being provided by a preferred, admitted carrier rated “A.”
