It amazes me how such enlightened political leaders can have this incredible blind spot when it comes to marketplace realities.

How can you deliver any consumer product or service for $1 when the cost of serving that consumer is $2? Seems to me the only way to pay for the product is to tap into a limitless fund. But what funding source could that be?

With new cost controls killing the health insurance industry’s ability to fund its own rising costs, there is no such fund. They simply have to shut down or restrict payments for medical services, once the red ink demands it. Econ 101, folks.

This legislation to cap/control rates is a smokescreen for just another play in the liberal end game: Universal Health Care funded by huge & ongoing tax increases.

Go live within the Canadian or UK health care systems and learn why we should not go down that road here. Why is it their citizens come HERE for care when it matters the most? Because they can’t get it in their nations.

Legislators, it is your job to perform for the greater good of your constituents. You fail to do that if you want to enact another milestone on the path to universal healthcare.

You are choosing blindness to socialized medicine’s pitfalls. You and your family will be there with us in the trap you create. Think about it.
