Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc., which is headquartered in San Diego, has named Ken Fish as chief financial officer, succeeding Ronda Sedillo in that position. Sedillo has concurrently assumed the chief accounting officer position. Fish’s appointment as CFO is part of Arrowhead’s overall restructuring plan.
“We have a strong financial team and these changes will further strengthen the organization,” said Frank Ruyak, Arrowhead’s chief executive officer. “Our corporate finance and accounting needs have become increasingly complex with our continued growth and diversification. We are very happy Ronda has assumed the CAO position as Arrowhead will continue to benefit from her skill sets and experience.”
Fish brings more than 20 years of financial management expertise in various business sectors. Most recently he served as vice president of corporate development at Allergan, Inc., a Standard and Poor’s 500 specialty pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device company. Fish also served as vice president of corporate finance and strategic planning for the same company.
“Ken has a proven track record in corporate finance, corporate management and strategic planning,” said Ruyak. “He brings proven expertise and a wealth of experience from a broad spectrum of companies to Arrowhead. Ken will be an invaluable addition to our senior management team.”
Fish also worked in a senior transaction execution role for three and a half years at the Government of Singapore Investment Corp., which he joined in 2001 as vice president of special investments. In that capacity, he managed more than $25 billion in private equity and venture capital investments on behalf of the Singapore government. Earlier in his career, Fish worked in the telecommunications and energy industries in various financial management and corporate business development roles.
