Ed Brown… just another example of how big an idiot this guy is. If he is going to restrict oil and gas exploraton and production in California, he should start walking to work today and he should also turn the heat and electricity off at his home and office. What a hypocrite! Just like all the other not-in-my-backyard, tree hugging, economy destroying environmentalists in this state. If they would just listen to the energy industry. This can be done in a way that limits the impact on the environment. Balance is the key to survival.

I think it’s called a NATIONAL forest, not a California forest. Secondly, perhaps Mr. Brown would be willing to pay $9.00 a gallon himself, and let the rest of us pay less. THEN—he can hug a lot of trees!

To a different generation of Californians, he was Gov Moonbeam. Now in a different incarnation, he is AG Moonbeam. A little less toothy, but still just as wacky as he was in the 70’s. At least he is charting new territory in his lawsuits-don’t forget his suing the EPA over car gas milage numbers-oh yeah, didn’t that one get thrown out too???
Too bad he forgot that he is supposed to be the #1 law enforcement official in the state and should be concentrating on putting away the bad guys and deporting the illegal alien convicts.

How does he expect to fight a fire without roads into the Forest? My husband works for the USFS some of these roads are necessary just for access during fires.
