Why do most canditates (especially Democratic) for insurance commissioner tout that they are the consumer’s watchdog? Are the insurance companies really out to “get” us?
I think we need to go back to an appointed insurance commissioner, so they will do the right job regardless of the political pressures. Besides wouldn’t it be nice to have an insurance commissioner with actual experience WORKING in the insurance industry? What a concept.
