The other half is now going into the general fund, so you are correct. It’s just the back door way of taking the money from the citizens in Hawaii. However, it won’t be shown that way by the media. The people who made this law obviously don’t realize how much pain it is to pay DOUBLE what we normally pay. I’m going to have to go without much in the way of survival items like food this month. Off to the food bank again we go. Do they have any clue how hard it is to sell insurance and get clients? AND (and this is a huge big AND) we have to also pay for our continuing education fees as well. Ok, now I’ll just bend over right now……sigh…….
